Job Description :

Responsibilities:
Education

• BS/BA, preferably in Information Technology or Business or equivalent experience, education, or training required
• Master's degree, preferably in Information Technology/Systems, Engineering, Business preferred

Certification

• CCNA/CCNP or CCIE technical certifications or other comparable certifications preferred

Knowledge/Skills

• Understands LAN, WAN, switching, routing multimedia and other supporting technologies required
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management, capable of successful formal and informal communication, speaks and writes clearly and understandably at the right level required 
• Developing and maintaining both formal and informal relationships enterprise-wide, defines success in terms of the entire team through mentoring and knowledge transfer required
• Demonstrates a commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in current technical/functional area, keeping up to date on technical developments, staying informed as to industry practices, knowing how to apply relevant technical processes to appropriate business needs required

Experience

• 6 years applicable experience in one or more of the following network related areas: design, analysis, capacity, wireless, Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and voice platforms required
• A senior or lead engineer role, designing, implementing and supporting data networks for an airline or comparable, major transportation company preferred
