Position  : Performance Engineer

Location : Malvern, PA

Duration : 12+ Months Contract

 

 

Job Description:

Emphasis on UNIX and Java-related performance diagnostic experience.  An example of that diagnostic experience would be hands on experience with JProfiler or JProbe.
 

Technical Skills
 - Senior level knowledge of the following practices and concepts: full product life cycle, architecture design, performance and stress testing, technical standards and deliverables, migration and integration, Production Acceptance Process.
 - Strong knowledge of UNIX and Java.
 - Strong knowledge of multiple IT platforms: Netcentric, Client/server, Microsoft Windows 2000, OS/390, UNIX.
 - knowledge of current versions of the following products: Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Visio.
 - knowledge of one or more development tools and programming languages. Additional tools/skills needed  include QTP, HttpWatch, Excel VBA macro development
 - Proficient with modeling, creating and maintaining user interface and service oriented tests in Performance Center - Must Have
 Load Test Skills: Expert Performance Center knowledge as it relates to scripting and test creation
 Load Test Skills: Ability to analyze, identify and help resolve performance issues
 Load Test Skills: Ability to setup tests based on Production volumes
