Position: Java Developer
Locations: Newport Beach, CA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract.
Description:
Looking for a Java Developer to work on the Compliance System which will be working on investment guideline rules automation. This person needs to have strong java developer skills that can work both collaboratively and independently. Typical day to day responsibilities would be design, implementation and code review. Candidate will be expected to be able to multi-task and switch between coding and production support. This candidate will be focused on one major project but the opportunity to contribute on other projects will be available.
Most important skill set are:
- Strong Java
- Data structures/Algorithms
- Multi-threading
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience
• Bachelor degree is required
• Financial industry preferred, but not required
• Strong Java developer with knowledge of REST, SPRING, JMS and JDBC required
• Knowledge of Unix development environment
• Experience with Maven, Camel and SOA preferred
• Familiar with algorithmic complexity analysis and profiling/optimization
• Basic to moderate SQL skills required
