Title: Genesys Developer

Location: Hartford, CT

Type: Contract

Interview: Phone and Skype

 

Key Skills Required:

• Development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment

• Application of more than one of the following call center technologies: Genesys call routing, PBX integration, Carrier offerings, ICON/Infomart Reporting infrastructure, CTI desktop integration, Outbound dialer integration and Call Recording integration

• Troubleshooting any complex issues around Genesys config/management layers, routing layer, Genesys SIP, media server, and ICON/InfoMart

• Full development lifecycle from inception through implementation

• Experience with IVR and CTI Technologies

• VXML/CCXML Development both DTMF and Speech applications. Position requires 24-hour support on a rotating basis

 

Responsibilities:

• Partner with technical teams and external suppliers to ensure sufficient system capacity

• System monitoring for all new and existing applications

• Work with internal businesses and technical partners to provide requirement and commitment estimations

• Contribute in technical design sessions and provide subject matter expertise on Genesys framework, MIS, Voice and Data

• Provide design recommendations for developing and integrating applications per specifications

• Collaborate with the IVR, Business, Desktop Applications, MIS, Voice and Data Network, Avaya Voice teams to resolve production issues and/or implement new solutions

• Manage the development of custom application and WebPhone interfaces (Java and .Net)

• Manage the development of Genesys Call Routing strategies and the Genesys CME environment

• Assure that the Genesys and WebPhone application infrastructure is managed according to corporate infrastructure standards

• Review and document technical specifications and development requirements

• Manage the development of the Genesys Call routing, WebPhone user interface, desktop application integration, MIS and CTI requirements

• Manage enterprise-wide contact center system infrastructure and integration

• Collaborate with Risk Management to determine security needs and schedules

• Security scanning for all new and existing servers

• Disaster recovery planning/testing including system documentation
