Position : Embedded Software Developer

Duration : Long term contract

Location : Melbourne, FL

 

Embedded Software Development and Verification of avionics products in Communication, Navigation and Surveillance domain. Languages C, C++, PLM, Any RTOS, GHS MULTI, INTEGRITY, Code Composer, BIOS, DO-178B/C Borland C, Visual DSP, Texas Instruments/SHARC/Blackfin DSP experience, OOAD, UML, Rational Rose Enterprise Architect, DOORS, Clearcase, Clearquest, SVN/Subversion, Working in offshore-onsite model.

 

Required skills:

1) Proficiency in C++ coding for application development/ tool development. (Mandatory)
2) Knowledge on programming with Winsock, CONDOR card is desirable. (Optional)
3) Sound Knowledge of working on Borland C++ IDE. (Mandatory)
4) Domain knowledge on any weather Radar product. (Optional)
5) Sound knowledge on standards like ARINC 708(Weather Radar standard) , ARINC 453( Display format), ARINC 429( communication protocol) . (Optional)
6) Experience on software loading using emulators is desirable. (Optional)

7) Experience with Aircraft / Avionics / Aerospace industry is required

Other skill set required for the software CRs implementation.
8) Knowledge on tools like Visual DSP ++, Code composer studio. (Mandatory)
9) Programming using Embedded C. (Mandatory)
10) Knowledge on working with Texas Instruments, SHARC , Blakfin processors. (Optional)
