Responsibilities:

The software developer will design and develop infrastructure APIs for automating data-center/cloud infrastructure. The candidate will work on a team that is responsible for streamlining infrastructure solutions for the Client. The role will also require that the developer produces automated tests to regularly exercise and validate the quality of the API and infrastructure.

 

Required Skills:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering or equivalent experience

·         REST API Design experience (JAVA JEE,.Net,Ruby or Python)

·         Good communication skills and ability to build business relationships

·         System Administration skills on Linux and Windows

·         Ability to solve complex problems with simple and repeatable solutions

 

Desirable:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering

·         Experience with Virtualization/Cloud APIs (VMware,Openstack,AWS,Azure)

·         Knowledge of data-center management (IPAM,DNS,AD)

·         Experience with TDD/BDD and CI/Continuous Delivery

·         Experience with automation tools (HP OO, MS SCORCH, HP Server Automation, Chef, puppet)
