Job role: WebSphere MQ Admin/ Consultant
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 6+ Months
Primary Skill: Strong Websphere MQ and ESB Technical Support
Requires 5–10 years of experience.
Environment:
American Family has medium to large implementation of approximately 50 queue managers in multiple environments.
Required Skills:
1. Strong WebSphere MQ – Installation, maintenance, configuration and
runtime support
2. Strong ESB – Installation, maintenance, configuration and runtime
support
3. Programming Languages - COBOL, Java, XML 4. Platform – Windows, Linux, z/OS 5. Environment – Windows Clusters, vmWare, RHEL 5.x or 6.x
Desired Skills:
1. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CA Wily Introscope 2. Knowledge of CICS 3. Knowledge of JBoss Application Server 4. Experience with WSO2 ESB 5. Experience with UML, XSLT, xPath 6. Knowledge of Databases 7. Experience with web services, multiple soap stacks
On-Call - The on-call rotation is every once 3 or 4 weeks. The actual number of calls during off-hours is minimal and some weeks there are none. You are paid for time spent fixing issues, not for carryig the pager.
