Job Title: Senior BI Architect

Location: Framingham, MA

 Mandatory Skills: Erwin, DW.BI Data modeling, ROLAP/MOLAP

Detailed JD        

• A working knowledge of Kimball type data architectural principles along with dimensional and relational data modeling techniques

• 5+ Year's experience using common data modeling tools like Embarcadero and Erwin.

• Expert-level knowledge of relational data models along with normalization concepts that impact application performance for large multi-terabyte sized databases.

• Strong working knowledge of database architectures such as Teradata, DB2 and various Appliance based technologies within the Data Warehouse space, working with DBAs to ensure that physical data models are optimized for the platform they are being deployed to

• Strong working knowledge of ETL processes to help ensure the alignment of physical model designs with data loading activities.

• An understanding of BI Tool capabilities as well as the major differences between OLAP, ROLAP and ad-hoc reporting

• Strong SQL skills to profile source system data while validating data modeling design assumptions.

• Ability to work and communicate effectively with remote team members and business stakeholders located in varying office locations and time zones throughout North America.
