Senior Network Security Engineer

Check Point Specialist /  Firewall Experience is a Requirement / MUST HAVE

Client expects resource to work 9 hour shift and we need to be charged day rate based upon that.

High level network analyst. Must understand networking requirements of financial services environments (e.g. VLANs, trunking, multicast, VRFs, OSPF& BGP routing, in a Cisco based environment).

Experience in financial services environments a must; experience using firewalls to segment between development and production environments highly desirable, experience with common development tools a strong plus.

Fundamental understanding of network security mandatory, including real world experience with firewalls from both Cisco and Check Point.

Must possess sound understanding of networking requirements to support infrastructure communication in environments which include Windows (AD, CIFS/SMB, etc), Unix (NIS+, NFS, etc), VMware, and EMC SAN.

Ability to work flexible hours to support operational model (change control) is a requirement.
