Position: QA Lead

Location: Stamford, CT

Duration: 6 Months

Rate:$350/day

 

Description:

·         Strong candidate with at least 6+ years of testing experience preferably testing the Investment banking applications and in guiding team

·         Good hands on experience working on Water Fall / Agile based projects

·         To provide estimate based on the CR / FSD

·         Experience in thoroughly reviewing test scenarios derived by the team

·         Ability to map requirement to ensure test coverage

·         Experience in planning and ability to allocate tasks to the team

·         Experience in interacting with client manager to discuss on schedule

·         Pro-active in identifying any risks and escalating at right time

·         Good experience in guiding the team on technical/domain areas

·         Perform peer review of test scenarios/test cases

·         100% hands-on on test planning / scheduling

·         Good experience in creating reports using test management tool HP Quality Center

·         Experience in status reporting

·         Provide update on test execution to client

·         Be available on demand to work during hotfix / release windows

·         Experience in verifying the test completion and providing QA sign-off

·         A good understanding of  QA environments

·         Willingness to share knowledge on tools and application functionalities

·         Ensure knowledge management by documenting and making it easily accessible by the team

 

Technical and Domain skill requirement (5 = Entry level, 10 = Expert)
