Duration: 6+ Months (Long term Project will be extended every 6 months)

Location: Melville, NY

Interview: Telephonic and F2F

 

Java Developer

 

Primary Responsibilities:   

·        Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

·        5 to 7 years of experience in multiple IT areas and years of relevant architecture experience.

·        Experience Spring MVC Webflow and would like portal experience if possible

·        Requires advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design and integration.

 

Technical skills include: Java / J2EE (preferably using WebSphere Application Server with Oracle database), IBM WebSphere Portal, Web Services, Messaging, Multi-Threaded development, effective use of proven Design Patterns.

·        Experience in ORM framework like Hibernate, IBatis, etc      

·        Experience in REST/Web Services

·        Experience in dojo, JQuery, etc

·        Understanding of SDLC (agile development a plus)

·        Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting or Perl, Python

·        Knowledge of Source Control System

·        Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle with experience within an Agile/Scrum methodology
