They would like to see 4+ years of Java, and Ajax, Spring, and Hibernate experience is desired. Ecommerce experience is a big plus.
As our Programmer/Analyst-JAVA you will support multiple systems which include designing, coding, implementing, and maintaining the following systems: order entry; order fulfillment/distribution center/shipping; inventory; finance; merchandising; marketing; e-Commerce. Additionally, you will code, test, and debug moderately complex programming projects from detailed specifications independently with limited supervision across one or more platforms. Best of all, you will work with team members in estimating resource requirements, project planning and scheduling for programming projects.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience required
Two years related work experience is preferred
Ability to effectively interface with customers, clients and other departments
Possess an understanding of business applications
Possess good written and verbal skills
Familiarity with inter-application communication via DDE and OLE
Proficient in database normalization to fourth normal form
Knowledge of SourceSafe or other source control software
Familiarity with API calls
Understanding of System Analysis, Design, and System Integration
Knowledge of at least one the following: Access, Structured Query Language, DB/2, and DB/2 400
Java EE Technologies (ranging from EJB to JSP), HTML, CSS and XML
Spring Framework and Visual Basic experience preferred
