Job Description:

Reporting to the Marketing Analytics Manager, the Big Data Scientist will work with marketing management and technical teams to bridge business and data, creating a networked system with multiple data sets to model and predict optimal outcomes and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing spend.  This Associate will lead the design, development, interpretation and delivery of data-driven solutions.  The role requires thought leadership on design methodologies and standards based on the information needs of internal stakeholders and management.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Apply state-of-the-art techniques to extract actionable insights from diverse data

•Collaborate with marketing Subject Matter Experts and internal/external technical teams to design systems for data collection, cleaning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling

•Provide guidance on data structures and design for reporting, ad-hoc analyses and propensity modeling driving insights around customer, product, brand and retailing strategies

•Conduct a wide range of analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities through exploratory analysis and ad-hoc reporting

•Work with agency partners and internal stakeholders to transform media mix model results into insights that help the organization understand historical campaign performance and provide recommendations for future media planning

•Automate with new tools: data mining, valuable analyses, reporting, and monitoring

•Effectively communicate findings, including unique data visualizations, across all levels of the organization
