Our client are building a revolutionary adult learning platform that transforms the way the world learns. Our backend uses complex technologies like natural-language processing, Machine learning, and Big Data Analytics to build a world class, scalable multi-tenant content discovery and recommendation platform. To match that, our front end is built with Angular JS to serve up responsive, light weight, highly scalable and performing web application. We are looking for a deeply experienced Angular JS developer to join our team and help us build the world's best recommendation platform.
You must have plenty of web application development experience with Angular JS and raw JavaScript. Your code should make use of proper injection and adhering to strict DRY principles. Strong experience with unit test and codes reliability is essential. Knowledge of REST API best practices are preferred. You have well thought out distinctions for the purpose of directives, services, controllers ad modules. You have experience taking a large existing JavaScript site and refactoring it for efficiency, performance and scalability.
You will be expected to build fully tested features, refractor code bases phase with development, inject your expertise in code reviews, and integrate the codebase with industry leading web design.
Essential requirements
· 6+ years of web development experience
· 6+ years of JavaScript development
· 1+ years of angular JS knowledge
· Experience with Git
· Portfolio of work focused on Angular JS implementations
· Passionate about making scalable, reusable front end code
· Strong experience with fully testable front end code
· Strong experience with development lifecycle and refactoring codebases
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Ability to work alone and in teams
· Other duties as assigned
Nice to Haves
· Experience converting comps, mockups, wireframes into responsive CSS and templates
