Data Conversion Consultant

Requisition Details:
Skills Required
1. Past experience with data conversion for major projects.
2. Strong knowledge and experience with writing scripts and procedures on Oracle databases (PL/SQL).
3. Must have the ability to write SQL code that does more than simple select routines.
4. Code must extract and process the data (i.e. transform, convert, etc.) and this this data must be stored in specially formatted files for loading.
5. Ability to understand data requirements provided, based on business needs, and to develop scripts to convert historical data to the desired format based on this logic. Experience with tools used for this type of scripting.
Additional Details
• This project will involve moving the Retail Pricing process from the PROS pricing application to a new (cloud based) vended application.
• Currently have ~60 million rows of retail pricing data in various tables that will need to be formatted to specific templates provided by the new vendor and loaded, tested and signed off byusers
2 professional references of the Reporting Manager from latest projects highly desired.
