Duration 12 months +

Job Description:

-M.S or BS. Degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or Telecom
-A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar environment.

• Experience in and with IP Transport Networks. She/he experienced with network deployments, systems, applications and architectures with installation, configuration, integration, evaluation, testing, documentation, and training. She/he develops and executes detailed network designs, specifications and architectural plans for IP Backbone architectures.
• Hands on working experience with provisioning and troubleshooting Cisco routers including ASR9k, CR and Company. In depth knowledge of IP Networks, OSPF & ISIS, BGP, MPLS, MPLS TE, QoS, Cisco IOS & IOS-X routers
• BGP Peer/Transit/Core Traffic monitoring/trending/route balancing/route optimization -Change control/internal peer review of changes -Peer/Transit/Core Network latency monitoring/trending
• An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and the customers.
• Very High Skills - Ability to define problems, problem solving, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Knowledge of DWDM Optical Technologies is plus.
