Location: Indianapolis, IN or Baltimore, MD

Server Engineer

Required Experience:

·        Strong working knowledge of Internet networking technologies and principles

·        5+years general Unix system Administration experience

·        Strong knowledge of Oracle databases (does not need to be a DBA, but does need to have experience)

·        Networking architecture and troubleshooting, operations management

·        Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, and logical problem solving

·        Strong sense of Urgency in support of all customers.   Ability to understand business requirements for technical needs and utilize the business requirements information to prioritize work, develops solutions, and set urgency for others.

Performance Monitor –

·        4 years hands-on experience with BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management Suite is mandatory

·        4 years hands on experience with design and configuration experiences with BMC Bladelogic is mandatory

 

Preferred Experience:

Microsoft

·        5 years hands-on experience required. Microsoft certification a plus.

·        Microsoft SQL Server-2008 R2 and Microsoft SQL Server-2012

·        Windows Server Failover Clustering

·        Biztalk

·        Microsoft – Business Management System

 

Preferred Experience with Unix or Unix like

·        5+years' experience and a solid experience profile that can be demonstrated with UNIX or UNIX like operating systems using one or more of the operating systems below:

o   Red Hat Enterprise Linux

·        Solaris 8.9, 10 on SPARC

 

Virtualization- 3 years hands-on experience

·        Microsoft Hyper-V,  VMWare

 

Content Management – 1 year hands-on experience

·        SharePoint Server 2010

 

SAN Products Technologies -  3 years hands-on experience

·        In-depth knowledge of Administrating, Capacity planning, installation, configuration and supporting

 

Active Directory Group Policy – 3 years hands-on experience

• Extensive experience is using deploying and applying organization policy and maintaining the Active Directory by adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
