Oracle DBA
Past Expereince with CMS federal Client is Required.
Required Experience:
Administering the organization's database, using database management system to organize and store data, determining user requirements, setting up computer databases, and tests and coordinating changes. Interacts with development and end-user personnel to determine application data access requirements, transaction rates, volume analysis, and other pertinent data required to develop and maintain integrated databases and ensures performance.Coordinates physical changes to computer databases; and codes, tests, and implements physical database.Designs logical and physical databases or reviews description of changes to database design to understand how changes to be made affect physical database.Establishes physical database parameters. Codes database descriptions and specifies identifiers of database to database management system.Calculates optimum values for database parameters, Specifies which users can access databases and what data can be accessed by user.Tests and corrects errors, and refines changes to database. Enters codes to create production database. Selects and enters codes of utility program to monitor database performance.Directs programmers and analysts to make changes to data base management system. Reviews and corrects program.
Required Skills:
· Requires minimum after 5 yrs Oracle DBA experience and past experience comparing database objects across environments and syncing.
· Requires past experience performing analysis on local environment and conform to industry standards
· Experience providing DBA support to development team – adding, modifying objects
· Solid experience adding test data to local environment, exporting/importing data from CMS dev database to local database.
· Oracle DBA experience generating DDL Ability to manage user security
· Strong experience with the creation of database objects, grants, backup strategies, and performance tuning PL/SQL proficiency – ability to write/develop and tune existing and new functions and procedures.
