Tasks & Duties
•  Develop and maintain Netezza coding and design.
•  Create, modify and maintain Netezza models.
•  Develop, test, deploy and run nzload based loads (DDL, load scripts) for each data source.
•  Develop, test and deploy NZPLSQL based admin utilities/procedures.
•  Develop Netezza strategy and specifications.
•  Manage and direct the Netezza strategy crossing multiple data sources and business areas.
•  Coordinate the efforts and provide direction for junior Netezza developers.
•  Facilitate the gathering, organization and prioritization of business requirements supporting the organizational analytics strategy.
•  Develop, test and deploy NZPLSQL based admin utilities/procedures.
•  Develop detailed systems and application operations designs.
•  Develop detailed application flows and environment details.
•  Provide design approach summaries and benefits.
•  Perform testing and evaluations.
•  Monitor system utilization and performance.
•  Adhere to organizational change control methodology and documentation.
•  Develop operational and installation Netezza procedures.

Required Skills
•  Minimum 7 Years IT project experience.
•  Minimum 5 Years Strong understanding of Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing, project lifecycle phases; Strong background in RDBMS/DW concepts.
•  Minimum 5 Years Experience with Optimizer & Query Plans; Materialized Views & Cross Database Access.
•  Minimum 3 Years Netezza Data Modeling Experience.
•  Minimum 3 Years Knowledge of NZ SQL & Scripting; NZEvent and Event Processing.
•  Minimum 2 Years Experience with Netezza nzload, Netezza nz* and nz_* commands/utilities.
•  Minimum 2 Years Experience with UNIX scripting.

Desired Skills
•  2 Years BI Reporting/Analytics from Netezza appliances experience.
•  2 Years NZ Admin experience.
•  2 Years Experience in implementing large EDW/Data Marts (>10 TB).
