TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

•                     Extensive experience in PERL Scripting

•                     Shell Scripting

•                     UNIX

•                     Analytical and support experience in CGI-Perl.

 

Education:       Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant discipline

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:              

·         Providing defect fixes to the issues identified in testing phase.

·         Coding using Perl and Shell Scripting, Code analysis and code review.

·         Take decision on analysis and design issue, and technology need.

·         Develop Perl scripts to monitor production server's space issue, network connectivity.

·         Schedule the batch jobs in CRON and create the appropriate shell script to monitor.

·         Develop a Perl script to pull the key data's from the production log file for immediate fixes.

               

GENERIC MANAGERIAL SKILLS:

•                     Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects

•                     Strong oral and written communication skills

•                     Good Analytical skill, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

•                     Eagerness to mentor junior team members

•                     Proficient use of Power Point presentation tool, and MS office tools.  Proven writing skills for mass communication. Ability to document use cases, requirements and relevant technical documentation.

•                     Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills

•                     Knowledge of six sigma is added advantage
