Title: Network/Voice Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Duration: 12+ MonthsContract
Top responsibilities for this position:
Manage, configure and maintain Cisco, Nexus infrastructure which includes: Routing, Switching, FireWall, VOIP, Voicemail, and other telecommunications related solutions.
Manage, configure and maintain RightFax solution to all sites and users.
Manage, configure and maintain the Palo Alto for IPS, IDS and firewall.
Develop LAN/WAN strategies; evaluate and select hardware and software products, implement and integrate these products into comprehensive solutions meeting business requirements.
Cisco UCS solution configuration and support.
Create and maintain technical and procedural documentation.
Performs after-hours network support, installation, and maintenance as required.
Support data center facility and services and proactively monitor the health of all systems located at the data centers and take appropriate action when required.
Any other duties as assigned by management.
Regular and consistent onsite attendance.
Software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities (the "must have's"):
Cisco, Nexus Routing/Switching
Cisco VOIP (Calle Manager, Unity)
RightFax
Palo Alto
Cisco FireWall
CCNP
Cisco UCS
Windows Server
VMware
These skills/attributes are nice to have:
Storage (NetApp, EVA)
