Position: Business Analyst

Location: Springfield, MA

Duration: 6 Months +

 

Job Description :

Experience Level:  10 to 12 years

General Responsibilities:

• Develop business requirements
• Develop project scope
• Work with Technical Lead to develop resource schedule estimates
• Discuss tasks and clarify business requirements
• Provide knowledge transfer and details to offshore team
• Prioritization of CSC work in consultation with Client manager
• Facilitate discussion with the Client business users
• Act as point of escalation for CSC offshore team
• Create detailed functional specification documents for the requirements
• Coordinate with business / MFS team for UAT
• Provide regular updates to assigned Project Manager on all activities etc.

 

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Follow best practices of development as outlined by MFS Development Managers
• Excellent  business analysis skills  
• Analyze data from different sources (strong experience with SQL and can analyze data)
• Ability to work individually - Taking ownership and completing the task and giving guidance to development team when required
• Good communication skills - able to articulate the business requirements and communicate them across the board
• Financial services experience - need to have worked in the industry to know terminology - should understand the corporate finance area and be ready to learn things in other areas. I don't think they need fund experience.
• Agile development experience preferable
