QA tester - Financial Service / Brokerage
Jersey City
6 months+
Rate: $40/hr
• 3-5 years related experience
• Prior experience testing of client statements and workflow tools a plus
• Ability to create basic automated scripts in Quick test professional or Unified Functional testing from a manual test case.
• Experience enhancing existing Quick Test Professional or Unified Functional testing scripts. Experience with the use the Data Table object in Quick Test Professional or Unified Functional testing to store run-time data and drive actions
• Good Understanding of TD AMERITRADE's IT Systems
• Minimum of 3 years of software testing experience required
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Management, or related business field required
• Technical Skills should include Windows, UNIX, SQL and Quality Center
• Strong Financial systems/operations background preferred
• Knowledge of the equity market
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, team player
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Ability to prioritize workload in an effective manner
• Effective listening skills
• Financial services/brokerage experience
