Duration: 12+ months

Rate: $45/hr on C2C

 

Responsibilities

The consultant will be performing application development tasks including researching and documenting technical designs, programming solutions, writing and executing unit test plans, researching, resolving, and testing defects, and customer technical support.

•                    Review business requirements documentation with technical project manager and expert programmer to ensure clarity in implementation of technical design

•                    Attend and participates in joint application design sessions with other staff

•                    Implement systems and program design to meet business needs and technical design document.  Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code and technical documentation.

•                    Adheres to development time estimates and assigned tasks.

•                    A team member in coding, testing, debugging, implementing, and documenting programs, and developing test plans to verify logic programs.

•                    Troubleshoots end user technical issues, identifying problems and implementing solutions

•                    Participates in the release management process including technical steps to promote, test and release through the development environment, coordinating with infrastructure staff. 

•                    Use iterative and agile software development life cycle methodologies.

 

Skills Needed:

·         48 months of experience in the design, implementation and deployment of Java applications using modern Javascript libraries

·         48 months hands-on experience using SPRING framework

·         48 months hands-on experience using Hibernate, myBATIS or other Object Relational Mapping framework.

·         48 Months hands-on experience in programming Oracle WebLogic Java applications from specifications expressed by use cases, class diagrams, interaction diagrams and sequence diagrams.

·         48 Months hands-on experience in developing Oracle database schemas, tables, procedures and permissions.

·         Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or Public Health from an accredited institution

·         48 months of application testing experience including design and implementation of testing plans

·         12 months of experience in programming public sector government IT projects.
