Title                 : Java Developer

Duration          : 6+ Months, chance of extension for very long term

Location          : St Louis, MO

Interview        : Telephone and In-person interview

·         Plan, design and develop technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements in adherence with Client standards, processes and best practices.

·         Participate on complex application level initiatives and projects teams, collaborate with business partners, vendor/ consulting organizations and peer level professionals from other IT disciplines

·         Ensure quality of one or more "application" codebases and alignment with development standards

 

Responsibilities:

·         Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience

·         Expert technical experience in J2EE, Java 1.4 or higher, JSP, Servlets, EJB, struts, Spring, Hibernate, Ibatis, Web Services - SOAP/ RESTFul, WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat, .NET Framework, .NET MVC, IDE (Microsoft Visual Studio, RAD/ Eclipse), Database (Oracle, Exadata, Netezza, SQL Server), HTML/ javascript/ JQuery, UNIX ( Shell, awk scripting), XML/ XSLT, CSS, C Sharp, SharePoint

·         Experience with various tools( GSM, Bamboo/ Maven) and methodologies ( Waterfall, Agile)

·         High-energy, detailed-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment along with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results

·         Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships
