Location: Windsor, CT
Duration: 3-6 Months Contract
Must have Healthcare industry exp
Need to be both manual and Automate
Job Responsibilities:
Five (5) to Seven (7) years of Software Testing experience.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in QA Automation using HP Quick Test Pro (QTP)
Familiar with automation frameworks and building test scripts from scratch.
Extensive background in QA methodologies and experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites for system software
Excellent knowledge of object oriented programming concepts and two (2) years of experience with object oriented programming (Visual Basic, C#, C, VB Script, etc).
Ability to troubleshoot software / hardware configuration problems.
Knowledgeable of software development cycle (design, code, source control, quality assurance, test and deployment).
Experience with relational database products such as MS SQL Server.
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Experience in Agile methodology is a Plus.
Experience in SOAPUI testing is a Plus.
Manual Testing (Highly desired)
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, hands-on testing of custom developed applications and/or packaged software implementations.
Ability to interact with business stakeholders and work to meet their testing objectives.
Expertise with Defect Management Tools preferably HPQC or HPALM.
Good understanding of the end-to-end test cycle and test methodologies (black box, API, unit, integration etc.)
Basic SQL coding skills (can do multi-join queries)
Strong core expertise in QTP Scripting
Strong core expertise in ensuring traceability and completeness of test cases to original requirements and use cases
Strong core experience in various phases of end-to-end quality assurance including functional testing, usability testing, regression testing, and automation testing
Experience in understanding architectural diagrams, use cases and business requirements and how to transform them into reusable test cases
