Title : Java Developer with-Commerce or Mobile experience
Duration : 12 Months
Location : O' Fallon, MO
Education:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
Knowledge / Experience:
· 3 to 5 years of experience in Java development
· Broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
· Demonstrate MC Core Competencies.
Skills/ Abilities:
· Ability to be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment along with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.
· Strong communication skills
· Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.
· Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks and tools and support multiple concurrent activities and to interface with external / internal resources, working as a member of a matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team.
Key Technology Areas:
· Object-oriented design and programming
· Java, J2EE, Java Messaging Service
· Open source frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
· Oracle, PL/SQL, JDBC
· Web Services (SOAP, REST, XML, XSL)
· Object-oriented design and programming Preferred Knowledge:
· Web technologies including HTML, XHTML, HTML 5, and JavaScript. Java Server Faces and Seam
· Near Field Communications (NFC)
· Mobile Secure Element knowledge
· Digital/e-commerce applications
· Agile development methodology
