Job Summary:
The BizTalk Architect/Tech Lead is responsible for collaborating on and contributing to all stages of the SDLC process. The incumbent will build and deliver enterprise solutions by integrating systems across various disparate sources utilizing middleware technologies like BizTalk, MSMQ and MSESB.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creating and execution of an integration strategy around BizTalk and MS ESB.
- Will be the resident expert for installing, configuring optimizing and developing integration solution using BizTalk and MS ESB.
- Use BizTalk, ESB, PL/SQL, XPath, XSLT, Web Services, XML and more to develop integration solutions
- Provide high-level business architecture and workflow
- Assist with the full development life-cycle from requirements through release to production
- Create detailed technical designs while using standard integration documentation and following Best practices.
- Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology
- Provide expertise around the middleware technology stack
- Participate as a leader in both business and technical meetings.
- Work with other Software Architects, Developers, QA Analysts, and Business Analysts to ensure interface requirements are met
- Provide timely status updates to project leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years experience in enterprise software development utilizing the traditional Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology
- Minimum of 5 years experience using BizTalk, MSMQ, MS ESB.
- Minimum of 5 years experience using SQL Server databases
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with XML/XSLT/XPath/XSD
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with WS-* standards (WS-Addressing/ WS-Security/WS-I Basic Profile/WS-I Basic Security Profile)
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with Web Services (SOAP/WSDL/UDDI)
- Minimum of 1 year experience using BizTalk BAM for real time monitoring
- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in all aspects of user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design, and detailed systems design
- Working experience with data modeling (canonical model) concepts
- Consultative background that spans across several different industries
- Working experience in building out Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
