Job Role: SAS Data Integration consultant

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Required:

Advanced SAS Data Integration consultant with strong Oracle (must be a PL/SQL expert) development experience consulting opportunity for a financial services client.   The consultant must be an Advanced SAS Programmer with at least 8 years of experience with data integration and data management development experience. Please make sure that any proposed candidate has met the requirements outlined below:

**** The candidates need to be a 9 or 10 skill level in PL/SQL and be able to give direction to senior level developers around how to improve efficiency of queries, etc. This would include in-depth knowledge of SQL Trace, TKPROF, Explain plan, etc.  *******************

 

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

·         SAS/Oracle expert (9/10 PL/SQL level expert).  Not just extracting data, but optimizing SAS/Oracle queries, utilities and loading data into Oracle.  Pretty much an Oracle DBA level.

·         Advanced SAS Programmer (experienced in SAS programming, Macros, SQL). 

·         The consultant must have project experience with implementing advanced SAS coding techniques to optimize performance and have developed best practices for efficient coding.

·         Must have project experience with sophisticated Base SAS development for performance enhancements and efficiently handling and managing massive volumes of data.
