Prefer Citizens / Green Card holders on c2c basis

Description
Administer Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g databases.
Experience in setting up Oracle RAC, maintain and Administering RAC.
Experience in Setting up Oracle Data Guard and Administering Oracle Data Guard
Installation, configuration and maintenance of Oracle database products in Solaris virtual machine environments.
Routine tasks including log reviews and system monitoring allowing DBA to handle the big jobs more efficiently and effectively.
Monitor database health and alert potential database problems and performance slowdowns.
Perform database deployment in development, QA, SIT, Production environments.
Perform database backups and recovery using RMAN.
Develop standards in place to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security and performance. The DBA will perform reviews on the design and code frequently to ensure the site standards are being adhered to.
Evaluates releases of Oracle and its tools, and third party products to ensure that the site running the products that are most appropriate. Plan and release products updates with a minimal impact.
Fluent in Solaris shell scripting

REQUIRED SKILLS (Qualifications):
B.S in computer science or something equal
Master's is preferred.
Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g
Oracle RAC
Oracle Data Guard
Microsoft and Oracle Certification is preferred
3 to 5 years of experience as DBA
