Role:  Sr. Data Analyst

DURATION: 12  + MONTHS

LOCATION:   NYC,NY

Technical Analyst to assist with the implementation of a compliance solution for Insurance products. The position involves skills to support/trouble shoot network connectivity issues, data feed/processing issues, application configuration issues for workflow based systems with a preferred background in Oracle database environments and global/international deployments. 

Must haves: 

Experience working with Global Compliance Data Feeds 
Insurance Compliance experience 
Oracle 10g / 11g 
SQL Scripting 
Understanding of Network Connectivity issues 
Strong understanding of SDLC 
Well rounded in different areas of Technology 

Overview: 

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations. Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems. Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff. Requires at least 10 years of working experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 

Must have experience supporting/analyzing/implementing complex global programs and projects with multiple cross-functional resources. Must have excellent communication skills and experience with Oracle database feeds and modeling across multiple financial systems globally. Experience with implementing compliance solutions globally is preferred. Experience with Oracle's sanction (Datanomic/OWS) solution is a strong plus 

****Work location can be Long Island City NY or 1095 Ave. of Americas, NYC office.
