Subject: HELP getting more funding for the working uninsured
Hi Friends,
Please see the below email and the attachment. Please pass it along to as many people as you can to help take action! The federal government wants to provide the state of Florida with funding to help with our working-uninsured population however our House is resisting (similar to how they did with the sun-rail and then all that money was given to another state. :/)
By acting now you can help one million Floridians have greater access to health care. The attachments will provide details regarding the bill and how it will impact our community, in addition, provide you with instructions on how you can help!
Thank you for your time,
Melanie

Subject: MEMO FROM LARS HOUMANN
Colleagues,
As I mentioned at Leadership on Friday, we are facing resistance in the House over Florida taking $52 million from the Federal government for expanding Medicaid insurance to those who are unable to pay for it. I would appreciate your passing the attached memo on to as many individuals as you can and give them the choice to express their concern for the less fortunate in our community.
Thanks.
