Length of contract : 3 – 5 months

Node- Is Node/Angular a must have?  What would make them strong enough for what they need in Node/Angular?  If they had great front-end skills and had exposure to Node/Angular, would that suffice?  - Node and Angular is a primary skill sets, this is not a frontend developer, Node.js is used as a server side scripting and thousands of line server side of code is written using Node.js and Express.js framework hence Node.js and Express.js is must have

Duration- 3 months is obviously a short duration especially for top developers- what's likelihood of extension or contract being longer? – Yes, there is possibility of extension for a good team player

Rate- Given it's such a short term need, we will have to pay consultants more to make them stick.  Are you open to a higher BR around the $110/hr+ range?  What rate would you not want to see candidates? – I am open to rate up to 110 , as per SPE rate card.

Project- What will this person be working on for the ADM TV team?  Will they be tied to a specific project? – The developer will be working on a business critical application which runs in AWS cloud , We are bringing in-house to take the application to next level.

 

 Job Description: 

Key Tech Skills: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Node.Js, Express.js, Angular.js, AngularUI bootstrap.js, MVC, Agile, REST

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Providing JavaScript framework technical expertise on agile teams

·         Writing great software adhering to agile software engineering practices (e.g., TDD, continuous integration, automated tests, etc.)

·         Code review and mentorship of other developers on team

·         Experience working with offshore development teams

Qualifications:

·         Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience Modern Web application development using Node.js,Express.js

·         Knowledge of one of the following languages C#, Java, C++, Ruby, Python, Scala

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·         Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and Web Standards

·         Familiarity with client side MVC frameworks, preferably Angular.js

·         Familiarity with client side JavaScript framework such as backbone.js, jasmin.js, AngularUI, JQuery etc

·         Experience with at least one major server side web development stack, preferably MVC or JSP

·         Technical knowledge of the least one major RDBMS, preferably MySQL

·         Ideally, experience with node.js,express.js for Server Side JavaScript development

·         Experience with Agile as software development methodology

·         Experience AWS Cloud
