Description:
Oracle DBA Consultant with a thorough knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and SQLPlus.
Skills required:
- Extensive knowledge in SQL Tuning techniques for large databases.
- The ability to spot potential problems from AWR reports and the knowledge to propose appropriate solutions
- Skilled in Data Modeling.
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks and quickly switch from one task to another.
Prior Experience Candidates must have:
- At least 5 years experience working with Oracle and its associated utilities.
- Experience working on large projects while interacting with multiple people and groups.
- Strong Communications skills. Must be able to articulate very precise technical problems and solutions while conversing with management and other members of the programming staff.
- Technical classes w/o associated certification desirable.
