Duration: 10 Months contract

 

 

               Project Scope

Upgrade PeopleSoft Financials version 8.9 to 9.2 and People Tools from 8.52 to 8.53 and other full project lifecycle services related to coding, testing, training, software customizations and setup/configuration of PeopleSoft Financials Version 9.2.   

 

1.      Upgrade PeopleSoft Financials and Grants modules to Version 9.2

2.      Upgrade People Tools to V 8.53

3.      Retrofit customizations using Application Designer, People Code, Application Messaging, Application Engine, SQR, Oracle and other related development tools

4.      Adding new features available in 9.2 like Work Center, Pivot Grids, Workflow approval Framework, BI Publisher etc.

5.      Setup and make configuration changes to existing financial modules to leverage new 9.2 functionality and improve efficiency.

6.      Testing integrations with other modules and systems

7.      Testing General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payables and Purchasing

8.      Document system changes and decisions

   

 

Deliverables

 

1.      Working PeopleSoft Financial System

2.      Detail review and documentation of application modules needed to satisfy requirements.

3.      Retrofitted customizations.

4.      Training GSU Super Users and Business Analysts

5.      General detail documentation for new reports, interfaces, and modifications

6.      Implementation plan for new functionality

7.      Knowledge transfer to Georgia State University employees

8.      Weekly status reports with updates to GeorgiaStateUniversity project management

 

 Mandatory Project Specifications

 

The successful supplier or project participants must meet the mandatory project specifications identified below:

 

 1.      Firm must be an Oracle partner or services provider

 

 2.      Resume of project participants must be provided

 

 3.      Project participants must be on-site at GSU

 

 4.      Project participants must have PeopleSoft implementations experience in the role of            lead technical and functional consultant

 

5.     Project participants must have at least 5 years' experience in prior PeopleSoft implementations and must have strong technical skills.

 

6.      Project participants must have experience in prior PeopleSoft implementations from Financials V8.X toV9.X.

 

7.      Knowledge of the PeopleSoft Technical Architecture and Integration Methods to external Systems

 

8.      Project participants must have participated in at least 4 separate Financial implementation or upgrade projects

 

9.      Experience in working with University or Public Sectors clients is preferred.
