The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

 

BA3

Years of Relevant Experience: 7 plus years

Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent and IIBA-certified Business Analyst.

Role Description: All roles specified in BA1 plus additional work experience, job knowledge, and IIBA certification

 

 

	Masters Certificate - Project Management	Required
	MBA Preferred	Required

	Agile Project Management methodology	Highly desired	5	Years
	Business Analysis and RFP Writing	Required	5	Years

	Ability to document and analyze complex business processes and propose redesigns or areas for improvement	Required	5	Years
	Test Scripts, testing and UAT	Required	5	Years

	Software Development Life Cycle	Required	5	Years
	Software Development Life Cycle Report Writing using SQL Scripts	Desired

	GUI Design experience	Desired
	Familiarity with ASP.Net, SQL Server, Java Script	Desired

	Knowledge of NJ State and DHS policy	Desired
	Prior DHS experience	Desired

	Experience with task management documentation systems (i.e. JIRA, Basecamp, Redmine)	Highly desired
	Strong Analytical Skills and Understanding	Required

Strong Skills in Microsoft Productivity Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
