Java Lead
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 6 Months +
Rate: $55/hr
Java/Object Oriented Architecture(required)
• A strong understanding of Service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Understand of design patterns such as Observer, Singleton, Factory, Builder
• Experience with cloud based deployment/applications (nice to have)
• Strong understanding of MVC - Struts, Spring….
• Strong understanding of MVP frameworks
• Experience with ExtJS a plus
Application Security (required)
• Knowledge of security risks such as Cross Site Scripting, Cross Site Request Forgery and SQL Injection attacks.
• Expertise in best practices for systems security
• Some understanding of oAuth and single sign on is a plus
Administration and Troubleshooting (required)
• Troubleshooting a server platform – memory leaks, server overrun with stuck threads etc.
• Being able to address performance/resource concerns
• Familiar with JProfiler
• Experience working with logs for monitoring, troubleshooting etc
• A proficiency in unix
Working knowledge of RDBMS and other database options such as non-structured db's (knowledge required but not expertise)
Build Process, version control (nice to have)
• Knowledge of CVS, SVN and Git for source control
• Strong understanding of scripting build processes
2 professional references of the Reporting Manager from latest projects highly desired.
