Title: Business Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 3+ Months
Job Duties:
This request is for SR. BA3 for ODOT Division of Planning. This BA assignment is for the Division of Planning at ODOT. It is intended to be a long-term assignment utilizing the BA to develop and document the workflow for all of the activities in the Division. They will also be required to participate in the creation of RFPs for resources or applications that may be identified through the process. It is important that this person has had experience identifying and managing Risks
The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
7 plus years as BA
4 year college degree or equivalent and IIBA-certified Business Analyst.
All roles specified in BA1 plus additional work experience, job knowledge, and IIBA certification.
Required Skills:
• Experience with Business workflow processes – Required -7 Years
• Experience with planning, analysis, scoping and writing of RFPs – Required – 5 Years
• Experience facilitating the Business Process Management paradigms utilizing the three BPM core dimensions – Required – 5 Years
• Experience creating graphical representations of complex business processes – Required - 5Years
• Experience creating Functional and non-functional requirements – Required – 5 Years
• Experience with utilization of best practices and extensive Presentation Skills – Required – 5 Years
• Experience utilizing strategies for dealing with requirements changes and their impact on quality – Required -5 Years
• Experience creating application prototypes and screen mock ups – Required – 5 Years
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written – Required – 7 Years
