We are looking for a Usability Designer (System Analyst)with one our client at Austin, TX

Title                 : Usability Designer (System Analyst)

Duration         : 6+ Months and possibility of extension for long term contract

Location          : Austin, TX (Locals are highly preferred)

 

Skills/ Abilities:

 

·         Four (4) year Bachelor's degree in visual communications, design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.

·         At least three (3) years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.

·         Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guide. Work samples are required.

·         Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs.

·         Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently.

·         Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.

·         Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or other similar tools.

·         Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, methodologies, best practices and approaches, particularly as applied to web- and mobile-based applications.

·         Ability to explain technical issues and recommend solutions.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Understand the limits and capabilities of web technologies.

·         Usability testing experience.
