Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Top Three Skills:
Java/J2EE
WebServices - experience with REST and/or SOAP - creating and consuming
Strong database concepts - working with SQL - stored procedures, views, triggers, and partitioning
Job Description:
Develop telematics services in a wireless mobile environment. Work in a team to design, develop, test, and maintain telematics software platform
• 6-15 years of SW development, programming background - preferably in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Java experience: JDK 1.7 and Java EE
• Server knowledge: Glassfish 3.x, JBoss, Jetty
• Strong knowledge of Web Services development using Java EE technologies JAX-WS, JAX-RS, JAXB, Eclipse Link MOXy, Glassfish Metro Stack etc
• Proficient in database technologies and concepts e.g SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, triggers, partitioning etc
• Recent work experience in using Spring, Jersey, Hibernate and other open source frameworks
• Knowledge of caching technologies and concepts
• Knowledge Maven and the Maven build process required
• Test Driven Development: Experience using JUnit, and mocking frameworks like PowerMock and EasyMock
• Experience with version control software such as SVN, CVS, etc; experience with IDE such as Eclipse
Pluses:
Knowledge and hand on experience using new Java Enhancements
Experiences with Integration Frameworks
Recent work experience with Terracotta and Quartz Scheduler
Advanced Database skills
