Location: Redmond, Washington

Job Description:

Cognizant is looking for a seasoned C# developer with Bigdata – YARN / Hadoop skills and Java is more of a desired skills. The work is for optimizing the workloads by utilizing excess Compute and Storage across the datacenter for funning massive workloads like Bigdata workloads like Hadoop and Cosmos.

 

Skills needed :

·         Visual Studio / C#

·         YARN

·         Hadoop

·         Java

·         Windows Server

·         Cloud experience

All the above skills are required in one person – the C# will be the core development tool with the individual having hands on experience on Hadoop/YARN. Part of the work requires working with Windows Server to get the deployments going on the VM or Cloud Service, which means mostly server setup. The person doesn't need to know Windows Server internals.
