Job Title: Senior Healthcare Business Analyst
Location : Oakland, California
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
· Business Analysis
· Experience working on Web Application development project
· Healthcare experience
· Knowledge of Content Management Systems (optional)
· Visio experience
· Agile/Scrum experience
The Senior Business Analyst will provide a diverse range of tactical services to ensure the delivery and maintenance of key systems and solutions. In this capacity, the position will gather requirements, design/redesign business processes, and provide application support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Business requirements gathering activities may include: researching and analyzing data to define business functions, gaining process knowledge, and understanding/defining systems requirements.
Business process design/re-design activities may include: maintaining or establishing new business relationships, analyzing best practices in conjunction with internal/external subject matter experts, and making recommendations for business process and operational procedures.
Implementation, start-up and application support activities may include: configuration management of systems, troubleshooting issues, developing/implementing change control policies, providing testing and quality assurance for key systems, supporting start-up activities, and training users on key aspects of solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrates familiarity, knowledge and understanding in gathering/documenting requirements to support solution objectives.
Assists in gathering pertinent information for Feasibility and ROI evaluation
Uses role model industry accepted best practices related to methodology (e.g., LEAN, SDLC)
Distill business issues into requirements for communication with technical staff
Document procedures, workflow, and data via flow models
Map or cross reference data models, views, etc.
Create complement artifacts to achieve quality assurance and control objectives (e.g., use cases, storyboards, test scenarios, test data, etc.)
Conduct analysis to identify chances for improving productivity or decreasing costs
Discusses and defines business issues with clients
Host group based working sessions
Work collaboratively with business and IT to solve problems
