Position: Automation Tester with DATACOM projects
Location: Herndon, VA
Start Date : ASAP
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
• Extensive experience in Testing and automation in Datacom projects ( min 5+ years of experience)
• Good exposure to L2/L3 testing ( exposure to various protocols like BGP, DHCP, VRRP etc)
• Sound knowledge in IP routing
• At least 3 years of experience in automation
• Must have handled automation framework development and enhancement
• Experience in Tcl is a must. Should have handled automation of features using Tcl scripts.
• Knowledge on scripting languages like perl, Python is an added advantage
• Experience in Selenium ( GUI testing) is an added advantage
• Exposure to Solaris / Linux environment is a must.
• Must have experience in handling test equipment like IXIA, Spirent, JDSU etc
• Experience with leveraging tools for better software quality
• Should have the interest in learning new technologies / new techniques to scale up the productivity
• Should have the passion for quality improvement
